THE BOY WHO MET JESUS 
IL RAGAZZINO CHE PARLO' CON GESU'
My dear  friend, Frank Citone, just told me about this book. I will read it this summer, and after I will read it, I will let you know the answers to the significant direct questions (listed below) that Jesus gave to this boy for all of us.

It's the greatest story never told: that of a boy who met Jesus and dared to ask Him all the questions that have consumed mankind since the dawn of time. His name was Segatashya. He was a shepherd born into a penniless and illiterate pagan family in the most remote region of Rwanda. He never attended school, never saw a bible, and never set foot in a church.
Then one summer day in 1982 while the 15-year-old was resting beneath a shade tree, Jesus Christ paid him a visit. Jesus asked the startled young man if he'd be willing to go on a mission to remind mankind how to live a life that leads to heaven. Segatashya accepted the assignment on one condition: that Jesus answer all his questions-and all the questions of those he met on his travels-about faith, religion, the purpose of life, and the nature of heaven and hell.
Jesus agreed to the boy's terms, and Segatashya set off on what would become one of the most miraculous journeys in modern history. Although he was often accused of being a charlatan and beaten as a result, Segatashya's innocent heart and powerful spiritual wisdom quickly won over even the most cynical of critics. Soon, this teenage boy who had never learned to read or write was discussing theology with leading biblical scholars and advising pastors and priests of all denominations.
He became so famous in Rwanda that the Catholic Church investigated his story. The doctors and psychiatrists who examined Segatashya all agreed that they were witnessing a miracle. His words and simple truths converted thousands of hearts and souls wherever he went. Before his death during the 1994 Rwandan genocide, Segatashya continued his travels and conversations with Jesus for eight years, asking Him what we all want to know:
Why were we created?
Why must we suffer?
Why do bad things happen to good people?
When will the world end? Is there life after death?
How do we get to Heaven?

 QUESTIONS BY SEGATASHYA TO JESUS;
1. Jesus, you tell us to love our enemies...even when they seem to be evil, sinful, and harm us. But didn't God fight a war with Satan and cast him out into hell? So then, why do you tell us to love our enemies, and on the other hand, it seems obvious that you hate Satan?
 Jesus:
My child, I do not hate Satan- on the contrary, it is Satan who hates me. If Satan would repent and sincerely ask God to forgive his sins, then Satan would be forgiven and he would be allowed back into heaven. But for that to happen, Satan must repent sincerely from his heart. Now you answer this question for me, my child: do you know how many types of confessions there are? 

 Segatashya's answer:
Yes, Lord you taught me that there are two ways to confess your sins. The first way is to confess our sins openly and being deeply sorrowful for having offended you. We must regret our wrongdoing with all our hearts, sincerely ask for forgiveness, and meaningfully commit ourselves to never repeat those sins again.
The second way is to confess our sins without being sorry and regretful in our hearts for having committed the sins and for having offended  you. When we confess this way, we know that our repentance is only for show, to make ourselves look better in the eyes of others...and within our hearts we know that we will sin again as soon as we are able to.

 Jesus:
Very well said, child! I am happy that you remember our lesson about what it is to confess truly from your heart. Now, can you understand what it means when I say that Satan will be forgiven of his sins only when he sincerely confesses from the heart? 


 Segatashya's answer:
Yes, Lord, I understand. But Satan is the Great Liar, it will be difficult for him to ever confess from the heart. But i have much more to ask about this, Lord. I'm sorry I have many questions, but i need answers and you are not always clear, so please don't hide anything me and speak plainly. When you send me to give people your messages they have questions, so I must be able to answer them.




E' la più grande storia mai raccontata: quella di un ragazzo che ha incontrato Gesù e ha avuto il coraggio di chiedergli tutte le domande che hanno consumato l'uomo sin dalla notte dei tempi. Questo ragazzino si chiamava Segatashya. Era un pastore nato in una famiglia pagana senza un soldo e analfabeta nella regione più remota del Ruanda. Non frequento' la scuola, non vide mai una bibbia, e non mise mai piede in una chiesa.  
Poi, un giorno d'estate del 1982, mentre il 15enne stava riposando all'ombra di un albero, Gesù Cristo gli fece visita, e chiese al giovane sbalordito, sarebbe disposto ad andare in missione per ricordare l'umanità come vivere una vita che conduce al cielo. Segatashya accetto' l'incarico ma a una condizione: che Gesù risponda a tutte le sue domande-e tutte le domande di coloro che incontrera' nel suo viaggio di fede, e poter spiegare a cosa serve la religione, quale sia lo scopo della vita, e la natura del paradiso e dell'inferno. 
 Gesù accetto' le condizioni del ragazzo, e cosi Segatashya partì per quello che sarebbe diventato uno dei viaggi più miracolosi della storia moderna. Anche se è stato spesso accusato di essere un ciarlatano, e spesso preso anche a botte, il cuore innocente di Segatashya e la sua potente saggezza spirituale conquisto' velocemente  anche il più cinico dei critici. Ben presto, questo ragazzo, che non aveva mai imparato a leggere o scrivere, incomincio' a discutere di teologia con i principali studiosi della Bibbia e dava consulenza ai pastori e sacerdoti di tutte le denominazioni.  
Divenne così famoso in Ruanda che la Chiesa cattolica ha studiato la sua storia. I medici e psichiatri che hanno esaminato Segatashya, furono tutti d'accordo che sono stati testimoni di un miracolo. Le sue parole e verità semplice converti migliaia di cuori e anime ovunque andasse.  
Prima della sua morte nel genocidio ruandese del 1994, Segatashya continuò i suoi viaggi e le conversazioni con Gesù per otto anni, chiedendo a Lui quello che tutti noi vogliamo sapere: 
Perché siamo stati creati?  
Perché dobbiamo soffrire? 
Perché le cose vanno così male alle persone buone?  
Quando finirà il mondo?  
C'è vita dopo la morte?  
Come possiamo andare in cielo?  
Le risposte a queste e a molte altre domande, epocali che cambiano la vita, sono rivelate in questo libro avvincente, che è il primo resoconto completo della straordinaria storia della vita di Segatashya. Scritto con grazia, passione, umorismo e amore da Immaculee Ilibagiza, amica intima di Segatashya e  sopravvissuta all'OLOCAUSTO (sterminio) ruandese, questo lavoro veramente d'ispirazione è certo di commuovervi profondamente. Thirteen years before the bloody 1994 genocide that swept across Rwanda and within three months left more than a million people dead, the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ appeared to eight young people in the remote village of Kibeho.
Through these visionaries, Mary and Jesus warned of the looming holocaust, which (they assured) could be averted if Rwandans opened their hearts to God and embraced His love. Mary also sent messages to government and church leaders to instruct them how to end the ethnic hatred simmering in their country.
She warned them that Rwanda would become a river of blood and land of unspeakable carnage if the hatred of the people was not quickly quelled by love. Some leaders listened, but very few believed. The prophetic and apocalyptic warnings tragically came true during 100 horrifying days of savage bloodletting and mass murder.
Much like what happened at similar sites such as Fatima and Lourdes, the messengers of Kibeho were at first mocked and disbelieved. But as miracle after miracle occurred in the tiny village, tens of thousands of Rwandans journeyed to Kibeho to behold the apparitions.
 After the genocide, and two decades of rigorous investigation, Our Lady of Kibeho became the first and only Vatican-approved Marian (related to the Virgin Mary) site in all of Africa. But the story still remained largely unknown.
Now, however, Immaculee Ilibagiza has changed all that. She has made many pilgrimages to Kibeho, both before and after the holocaust, has personally witnessed true miracles, and has spoken with a number of the visionaries themselves. What she has discovered will deeply touch your heart!


Tredici anni prima del sanguinoso genocidio del 1994 che ha spazzo' tutto il Ruanda e lascio' più di un milione di morti, la Vergine Maria e Gesù Cristo apparvero a otto giovani nel remoto villaggio di Kibeho.  
Attraverso questi visionari, Maria e Gesù ha avvertito dell'olocausto incombente, che (hanno assicurato) potrebbe essere evitato se i ruandesi avrebbero aperto i loro cuori a Dio e abbracciato il suo amore.
