YEMEN- 10 million people at risk of their life!
THE US, IN COLLABORATION with SAUDI ARABIA, is RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN YEMEN. 10 MILLION PEOPLE AT RISK of dying; they are LIVING, WITHOUT WATER, NO FOOD AND NO MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. THIS ISN'T JUSTICE. IT'S MURDER! LET'S DEMAND A CEASE-FIRE AND A SOLUTION FOR LASTING PEACE FROM THE US CONGRESS! LET'S WRITE TO THEM! (In Arabic and Italian below)

See my letter below, that I emailed to my NY State representatives in Congress; senator Gillibrand and Schumer. You can use to write to them!

QUESTA NON E' GIUSTIZIA, MA UNA CARNEFICINA! CHIEDIAMO UN CESSATE IL FUOCO DAL CONGRESSO USA E UNA SOLUZIONE DI PACE. SCRIVIAMOGLI ORA!

Dear Senator Schumer and Gillibrand,
I've written to you about this topic before, but I am doing it again because not enough is being done to stop about war in Yemen. Ten million people are facing death by starvation, lack of water and medical attention.
Yet the USA with the help of Saudi Arabia is squandering our tax dollar supporting another illegal and vicious war against a poor country.
I kindly DEMAND A CEASE-FIRE AND A SOLUTION FOR LASTING PEACE FROM THE US CONGRESS!

Thank you

Italian:
Cari senatori Schumer e Gillibrand,
Grazie

How it started in Yemen

Yemen was already a poor country before any external factors were brought into it. A country which was victim of corruption which led to an angry backlash causing conflict that has effected nobody worse than the innocent civilians.
In March 2015, the conflict reached boiling point causing a chain reaction resulting in a civil war. It was at this date the war officially began in Yemen and the major fighting broke out.  The devastating effects did not take long to make an impact in Yemen. Within the first 10 months it had killed 2,800 innocent civilians, with 8,100 killed overall. More than 2.4 million Yemenis had to flee their homes to elsewhere in the country and 120,000 sought asylum in other countries. https://www.sabarelief.org/1000-days-of-war-in-yemen/

Pope: 'Nothing justifies' chemical weapons in Syria

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis closed his traditional Sunday blessing by saying "nothing can justify" the use of chemical weapons against defenseless populations and called for those responsible for a suspected attack in Syria to seek negotiations.
The pope referred to news of dozens killed, including many children and women, in a suspected poison gas attack on a rebel-held town near the Syrian capital. He offered prayers for the dead and the families that are suffering.
"There is not a good or a bad war, and nothing can justify such instruments that exterminate defenseless people and populations," the pope said. "Let's pray that the responsible politicians and military leaders choose another path: that of negotiations, the only one that can bring peace."

Earlier, in a Mass focused on mercy, a signature theme of his papacy, Pope Francis has urged the faithful to not give up on the sacrament of reconciliation, especially those who continue to backslide.
The pontiff urged the faithful to continue to seek reconciliation, or confession, because "every time we are forgiven, we are reassured and encouraged."
