PRESIDENTS- ARE they INFALLIBLE? I DOUBT IT. Let's examine the leaders of the past to make a more informed/better choice and elect the right president. A Personal Critique, a Prospective from Nixon to Trump!  Post in English & Italian. 
I PRESIDENTI SONO INFALLIBILI? Ne DUBITO. Esaminiamo i leaders del passato per fare una scelta migliore per eleggere i leaders giusti. Una Critica e Prospettiva Personale da Nixon a Trump! 
In these 46 years as American immigrant and retired US veteran (4 years active duty and 31 years with the NY Air Guard), I have also learned, that there is no perfect politician, and that our choices of candidates is very limited (unlike other countries, where they have many more major parties and more candidates to chose from), but nevertheless we must continue on voting, and do our best in choosing better leaders; those who will do the most good and least damage.
I have also learned that the most important features of any political candidate and/or leader is CHARACTER. Without a moral character of integrity, honesty, skill, experience and intelligence, leaders will go astray and serve only themselves.
I will not tell you who to vote for, in this list and brief outlines of US presidents, I'm just presenting some of the major facts /events and lessons, that I have learned so far in my 46 years in the USA.
Although I realize that the candidate's choices in American elections are not many; either Joe Biden, Donald Trump and or a 3rd party; it's our moral duty and obbligation to inform ourselves so that we will pick the best leader for our nation.

It is my hope that this information will help us to think more clearly and make a better choice in choosing the best leader for America.

1. I posted this article on Face Book this past February because lately I get the impression that too many people (in the US, and also overseas) idolize presidents too much, and often, too many people expect them to do miracles. However, we can see that many presidents (in the last 40-50 years), have made mistakes, and some of them have even committed crimes- however, we also noticed that they got away with it! 
So, it is fair to say that US presidents- although most of them are charismatic, smart and educated- they are still human beings- who have made mistakes and sometimes they have even broken the law! That is why some of them should have been dismissed, fired and/or impeached for their crimes! 
But this has never happened because presidents, and other powerful political leaders, get special treatment. Obviously that's not fair!  
Leaders should lead by example and pay for their criminal behavior! Just like all of us. They shouldn't be above the law- because in democratic governments- everyone should be treated equally by the law, but unfortunately, we know that's not the case!

In this collection, I'll present examples of US presidents who made some big mistakes, and/or broke the law...but didn't pay for their crimes, while anyone else would have been held responsible!

I will begin with President Nixon because he was forced to resign (quit) from his office. This happened in August of 1973, the following year, in October 1974, I arrived in the USA.

Tuttavia, possiamo vedere, e io l'ho costatato con la mia esperienza personale di emigrato Italiano in ASmerica dal 1974 che molti presidenti, cioe' negli ultimi 50'anni quasi. 
Sono certro che quasi tutti i Presidenti Americani anno commesso degli errori, questo e' scontato perche' sbagliando s'impara, ma e alcuni di loro hanno persino commesso reati - e sono riusciti a farsela franca! Quindi, è giusto dire che i presidenti degli Stati Uniti- sono sempre esseri umani, e come tutti possono commettere errori, ma e talvolta alcuni hanno persino infranto la legge! 
Ecco perché alcuni di loro avrebbero dovuto essere licenziati e magari incriminati e persino messi in prigione per i loro crimini! Ma questo non è mai successo perché i presidenti e altri potenti leader politici ricevono un trattamento speciale. Ovviamente non è giusto! I leader dovrebbero dare l'esempio e pagare per il loro comportamenti criminali! Proprio come tutti noi, e non dovrebbero essere al di sopra della legge - perché nei governi democratici - tutti dovrebbero essere uguali. Ma, purtroppo, sappiamo che questo e' impossibile! 
Allora permettetemi di presentarvi brevemente i presidenti degli Stati Uniti dell'ultimo mezzo secolo, iniziando dal presidente Nixon- che è stato costretto a dimettersi o sarebbe finito impeached! Le sue dimissioni arrivarono nell'agosto del 1973, l'anno seguente, nell'ottobre del 1974, il suo vice presidente lo perdono!.

La sua fu' la più recente inaugurazione presidenziale non programmata nella storia americana, e segnò l'inizio del mandato- di due anni e mezzo di Gerald Ford presidente, in seguito alle dimissioni del presidente Richard Nixon. Ford era divento' Vicepresidente il 6 dicembre 1973, dopo le dimissioni di Spiro Agnew, e in quanto tale è l'unica persona che abbia ricoperto l'incarico di Vice Presidente e Presidente senza essere stato eletto dal Collegio elettorale. 3. President Richard Nixon established relations with China, but as we've seen above, he had to resign because of the Watergate scandal. He spied (he had the headquarters of the opposite party wiretapped) so he could spy on them during reelection campaigns. Nixon was conveniently pardoned (excused, let go free) by Gerald Ford, his vice president. Really convenient! He broke the law and got away scot-free!
3. Il presidente Richard Nixon stabili le relazioni con la Cina, ma come abbiamo visto sopra, ha dovuto dimettersi a causa dello scandalo di Watergate. Nixon spiava il quartier generale del partito opposto intercettato in modo di fregarli durante la campagna elettorale. Nixon fu convenientemente perdonato (lasciato libero) da Gerald Ford, il suo vicepresidente. Davvero conveniente! Ha infranto la legge e se l'è fatta franca!

4. President Jimmy Carter, was a born-again Christian and a peanut farmer. He was honest and kind.  I liked his simplicity. But surviving politically in Washington was, and still is, very hard, especially for nice and gentle presidents and/or politicians like him. You have to be a fox to survive there, and Pr. Carter, apparently wasn't a fox! He was too nice. So, when his Iran hostage mission failed, he was blamed for it, hence he lost his reelection bid to  Ronald Reagan- a politician who had the macho/tough  talk, which inspired confidence/toughness to the American public, hence he was elected in 1982.

Ma sopravvivere politicamente a Washington è stato, ed è ancora, molto difficile, soprattutto per i presidenti gentili e politici come lui. Devi essere una volpe per sopravvivere lì, e il Pr. Carter, a quanto pare non era una volpe! Era troppo buono. Quindi, quando la sua missione di liberare gli ostaggi in Iran fallì, fu incolpato per questo fallimento, quindi perse la sua corsa alla Casa Bianca contro Ronald Reagan - un politico carismatico e simpatico, che faceva discorso da duro, da cowboy! E che ispirava fiducia e forza al pubblico americano, quindi Reagan fu eletto in 1982.

 
 
  





5. President Ronald Reagan was a former Hollywood actor. He was very charismatic, because he spoke well and people listened. In fact, he was a powerful speaker. Pr. Reagan restored confidence to the USA, after President's Carter's Iran hostage attempt failed. He was credited with bringing down the Berlin wall and helping East Germany gain democracy and unite with the West. He signed a Nuclear Reduction Treaty with the Soviet Union (now Russia) with Pr. Gorbachev, during the cold war, therefore reducing the nuclear threat and reducing costs. But he was also the President who fired flight controllers en mass (by the thousands) because they went on strike. He was against unions, unfriendly to workers, not their supporter/friend. In addition, Reagan broke the law several times, with the Iran-Contra scandal by giving permission to exchange arms for hostages. He later did the same thing with the Iranian hostage crisis. He gave away weapons to free American hostages in Iran. When asked about it, he said: I can't recall anything."


 5. Il Presidente Ronald Reagan era molto carismatico e un oratore potente, forse perché era un attore a Hollywood. Ristabili la fiducia negli Stati Uniti dopo aver liberato gli ostaggi dell'Iran- invece il presidente Carter fallì in quella missione. Gli è stato attribuito il merito di aver abbattuto il muro di Berlino e di aver aiutato la Germania dell'Est a conquistare la democrazia e unirsi all'Occidente. Ha firmato un trattato di riduzione nucleare con l'Unione Sovietica (ora Russia) con il Presidente Gorbaciov, durante la guerra fredda, quindi ridussero la minaccia nucleare e i suoi costi enormi. Ma Reagan fu' anche il Presidente che licenziò i controllori di volo in massa (a migliaia) perché avevano scioperato. Infatti, Reagan era contro i sindacati, ostile ai lavoratori, e ai loro sostenitori e amici. Inoltre, Reagan ha infranto la legge diverse volte, con lo scandalo Iran-Contra dando il permesso di scambiare armi per ostaggi (dichiarato illegale dal Congresso/Parlamanto USA). Reagan commise delle illegalita'  anche nel Sud America, aiutando in modo illegale- mandando fondi- ai combattenti ribelli che stavano cercando di rovesciare un governo dittatoriale. Reagan diede l'OK di passare le armi ai terroristi per liberare gli ostaggi americani in Iran. Quando gli è stato chiesto di queste cose, lui ha detto: Non ricordo nulla.

6. President Bill Clinton did many good things for America; he balanced the budget and and when he left office there was a government surplus (more money than debt)! More money in the government's coffers (banks)! He also refused to put troops on the ground during the Balkan war (in former Yugoslavia) where catholic Serbs massacred (murdered, killed) thousand of Muslims. However, his tenure (8 years in the White House) was riddled (filled) with scandals (immoral behavior). In fact, he almost got impeached (fired) because of a sex scandal. He was married and had an illicit (illegal, immoral) sexual relationship (in the White House) with one of his a young female assistants. If any of us had done that, at our place of work (have sex with a co-worker on the job), we would be in jail! That was also convenient for him! Didn't pay for his immoral behavior.
Il Presidente Bill Clinton face molte cose buone per l'America; bilancio' il bilancio e quando lascio la carica di presidente il bilancio dello stato era in surplus- non era in nero- c'erano più soldi nelle casse del governo! Clinton si rifiuto' di mandare truppe USA nei Balcani (nell'ex Jugoslavia) dove i serbi cattolici massacrarono (assassinato) migliaia di musulmani. Tuttavia, il suo mandato (8 anni alla Casa Bianca) fu pieno di scandali (comportamenti loschi e immorali). Infatti, è stato quasi messo sotto accusa (e quasi licenziato) a causa di uno scandalo sessuale. Clinton era sposato (con Hillary) ma ebbe una relazione sessuale illecita alla Casa Bianca, con una delle sue giovani assistenti. Se qualcuno di noi avesse fatto, avremo potuto dre come minimo addio al  nostro posto di lavoro (immaginatevi un maestro di scuola, o un polixzziotto, o qualsiasi impeagato publico, far sesso al lavoro con un collega di lavoro), saremmo come minimo in prigione! Ma Clinton era presidente, quindi non ha pagato per il suo comportamento immorale. Il Parlamento disse che quello che fece, era immorale, ma non contro la Costituzione.
 








7. President George W. Bush (his father george Bush, was also a president) started the war in Iraq by telling the American people that Iraqis had weapons of mass destruction, and terrorists ties to Osama Bin Laden; the mastermind of the 9/11 attack in NY City's Twin Towers, which killed 3,000 civilians.  So, Bush tried to get the public's approval and in fact, he did, he found excuses to invade Iraq. However, he did it with his propaganda, lies and the support of British Prime minister, Tony Blair. So, Bush succeeded into going to war. He managed to get a UN resolution, and he invaded Iraq. But those weapons were never found. 
In addition, to an immoral war, Bush failed in preventing the 9-11-01 attack- which happened under his watch (during his presidency). Why? Many of his critics say that he was on vacation over 40% of the time, instead of being on the job! So, perhaps he was too busy enjoying himself and didn't see it coming. He definitely failed to notice the threat (danger) and misinterpreted (misunderstood) the intelligence (information). Terrorists were in fact planning attacks with jet-liners. However, some people suspect that he looked the other way- didn't pay attention to the intelligence information, so that he had a pretext (an excuse) to go to war with Afghanistan and then Iraq. Others think that it was his ineptitude (inability, incapacity) to lead, hence Bush failed to prevent the 9/11 attack. Others have many questions, doubts, because his administration didn't provide (give) reliable (trustworthy) answers on the 9/11 attack. Others think that 9/11 was a conspiracy, a set up, a fake excuse, to cause another war for oil interests and to avenge his father- Saddam Hussein had tried to assassinate his dad.

Bush (il figlio, o il Bush numero 2) fu' quello che inizio' la guerra in Iraq- dicendo al popolo americano che gli iracheni avevano armi di distruzione di massa (WMDs, ovvero: Weapons of Mass Destroction), quindi ha invaso l'Iraq. Tuttavia, quelle armi non sono mai state trovate. Inoltre, l'attacco del 9-11-01 è avvenuto sotto la sua sorveglianza (durante la sua presidenza). Perché? Molti dei suoi critici dicono che era se ne ando' in vacanza oltre il 40% delle volte, invece di essere al lavoro! Bello! Quindi, non l'ha visto arrivare- non ha notato la minaccia, il pericolo, e ha interpretato male (frainteso) l'intelligenza (informazione che gli fornivano i servizi segreti). I terroristi stavano infatti mettendo in atto attacchi con i aerei di linea. Tuttavia, molti sospettano che Bush n. 2 si sia girato dall'altra parte- non hanno prestato attenzione alle informazioni di intelligence (info. segrete della CIA), così ha avuto un pretesto (una scusa) per andare in guerra con l'Afghanistan e poi l'Iraq. Altri critici pensano che sia stata la sua inettitudine (incapacità) a dirigere la nazione durante questa crisi (del 9/11)- quindi, secondo molti, Bush il figlio, non è riuscito a impedire l'attacco dell'11 settembre 2001. Altri si fanno molte domande, hanno molti dubbi, perché l'amministrazione di Bush 2, non ha fornito, non ha dato), risposte concrete o affidabili sull'attentato dell'11 settembre. Altri pensano che l'11 settembre sia stato una cospirazione, una messa in scena, negli USA la chiamano "a false flag" un'allarme falso", per causare un'altra guerra. Infatti, come si sappiamo molti, la guerra è un grande affare per quelli che fabbricano / vendono armi.


 
Per molte persone questo presidente e' stato un vero fallimento.
Come minimo, una scarpa e un pomodoro gli furono tirate in faccia durante alcune sue apparizioni in publico all'estero. E un presidente che ha ingannato il publico Americano.

The film exposes an impending fraud surrounding the run up to the Iraq War by the Knight Ridder News, military intelligence lies, complicit dishonest journalism, deceitful Politicians etc...

ALL PRESIDENT'S MEN is a 1976 American political thriller film about the Watergate scandal, which brought down the presidency of Richard M. Nixon.






 The film FAIR GAME is based on true events. Bush and his administration didn't listen to the CIA's info./intelligence on Iraq. Bush even tried to discredit the agent who was working on it, and even had her name leaked 9by one of his associates) and then revealed to a journalist, who in turn published her name (in public). 
 Il film FAIR GAME è basato su eventi veri. Bush 2, e la sua amministrazione, non hanno dato retta  alle informazioni della CIA, sull'intelligenza (info. segrete) sull'Iraq. Bush cercò persino di screditare l'agente che stava lavorando su di esse, e persino fece trapelare il suo nome da uno dei suoi associati (cosa illegale rivelare i nomi di agenti della CIA- possono essere scoperti e uccisi dai nemici). Infatti una persona grossa nell'amministazione di Bush 2, rivelò a un giornalista il nome dell'agente CIA, che a sua volta lo pubblicò su un quotidiano.

Il libro, qui sopra: What Happened (Cosa Successe) e' stato scritto uno degli assistent di Bush, Scott MacClellan, in cui racconta come la Casa Bianca di Bush 2 era del tutto normale raccontare balle e inngannare il publico, per raggiungere i loro obbiettivi egoistici.

  8. What about president Barak Obama? He didn't break the law while he was president! And did many good things for America. But these are some of the things that some people blame him for; not defending the unborn (he supported abortion on  demand), not speaking out against the death penalty, and against corporate greed (and he didn't make them pay for their corporate crimes). Obama also didn't defend religious rights/conscience. In fact, he threatened to take away federal health care funds from those health care organizations that refused to perform abortions, because of their religious beliefs. He also ordered many drone strikes against terrorists cells that killed many civilians. However, many of his good  proposals/legislation were blocked (including gun control legislation to reduce by murders by guns) by the republican controlled Congress.
 E il presidente Barak Obama? Fin qui tutto bene? Si, non ha violato la legge e face molte cose buone per l'America. Le uniche cose che non ha fatto sono: non difendere i bambini ancora non-nati, cioe' Obama era per l'aborto e non ha mai difeso la vita umana. Non parlo mai contro la pena di morte, ne contro l'avidità delle multinazionali e fargli pagare per i loro crimini. Obama non ha neanche protetto i diritti e la coscienza religiosa- infatti, voleva tagliare i fondi sanitari a quelle organizazioni che si rifiutavano di fare aborti.

Comunque, Barak Obama e' stato un presidente carismatico, simpatico, inelligente, furbo ed eloquente! Non ha trasgredito la legge fin'ora, ha fatto cose buone per gli USA, ma mi dispiace che non ha mai parlato- ne fatto niente contro l'aborto, la pena di morte, ne contro i porci grossi di Wall-Street (Borsa affari) che hanno svaligiato/rovinato le banche e la classe media della popolazione USA.  
Obama ha cercato di frenare le morti causati dalle armi da fuoco, ma purtroppo le sue proposte di legge furono bloccati dal Congresso, che era sotto il dominio, la maggioranza repubblicana. Tuttavia Obama lotto' per i lavoratori e firmo' tanti accordi per salvaguardare l'ambiente.

 










8. I personally think that this is the worst president I'v ever seen. I don't like Trump because of his lack of moral character and ability. He is unfit to lead because he is mentally unstable, he lies continuously. According to The Washington Post, he has lied over 2,000 times his first year in office. He is  dishonest, has had 5 bankruptcies (never paid his debts), and during the presidential campaign he proudly, and repeatedly (many times) hat he doesn't pay taxes. He has also boasted about abusing women, and has offended many people in the USA and abroad. He accused the media of being fake, derided the FBI and the CIA and made fun of US veterans. 
Other reason why I don't like him, are: his policies his fascist ideas/policies against immigrants and Muslim countries, and his unfairness in distributing wealth. In my opinion Trump is the worst president I've ever experienced in my 40+ years in America- from President Gerald Ford, the one who replaced Pr. Nixon. He favors the rich and corporations by giving them big tax break at the expense of the poor and the middle class. 
 
Unfortunately, the current US president, Trump, is anti-environment anti-science and common sense; he has eliminated all of President Obama's environmental protections, and is trying to get rid of Obama Care, the Affordable Care Act, which has over 20 million Americans covered with health care. Trump wants to go back to fossil fuels and does not believe in the science of global warming. In fact, his policies have favored firms, corporations and the rich, to the detriment of the workers and the environment. Additionally, Trump has had many legal problems; he almost got impeaced in 2019, has told over 20,000 lies, often talks and acts as dictator, mocks and offend people of all walks of life; from minorities, to people of color, the poor, the immigrants, the media, scientits and doctors- infact he has downplayed the threat of Covid19, which has already killed over 240,000 people in the USA; he was infected and still refuses to wear a mask in public, and he encourasges his followers not to wear one!

It is unfortunate, but this POTUS' actions are aslo racist. We can see this when we listen to his words, watch his behavior, and his policies. The biggest evidence (fact) that shows his racist policies is the Muslim Ban, which was supposed to be against those countries that are terrorists heavens, right? 
Well the 9/11 terrorists came from Saudi Arabia. Why didn't Trump include SA in his ban? Because he does business with SA! Trump has had a long history of behavior that is racist. 

So, I would like to encourage you to watch the Netflix's movie: THE CENTRAL PARK 5. It's a true story. Someone murdered a woman jogger in NY City's Central Park. The police arrested 5 black teens at the time, made them confess to the murder. Well since Trump is a racist, he placed a full page add in the NY Times asking for the death penalty for those kids! If they were white those kids wouldn't have been treated like that by the police and by Trump. Plain and simple! Check this story out.

8. Secondo me questo e' il peggior presidente che i abbia mai veduto. Trump non mi piace, a causa della sua carenza di carattere morale e di capacità. Non è in grado di guidare il paese perché è mentalmente instabile, mente continuamente. Infatti, secondo il Washington Post, ha mentito oltre duemila volte il suo primo anno in carica. È disonesto, ha avuto 5 fallimenti (bancherotte- e non ha mai pagato i suoi debiti), e durante la campagna presidenziale ha orgogliosamente, e ripetutamente, affermato più volte di non pagare le tasse. Si è vantato di abusare delle donne e ha offeso molte persone negli Stati Uniti e all'estero. Ha accusato i media di essere falsi, deriso l'FBI e la CIA e ha  preso in giro i militari statunitensi. Un'altra ragione per cui non mi piace Trump: la sua politica- le sue idee politiche sono fasciste, contro gli immigrati e i paesi musulmani. E sono totalemnte opposto al modo in cui Trump distribuisce la ricchezza. Va sempre a favore dei ricchi e frega i poveri e le famiglie del ceto medio. Trump è il peggior presidente che abbia mai vissuto nei miei 40 anni e oltre, in America- dal presidente Gerald Ford. Trump favorisce i suoi amici ricchi e le grandi corporazioni/ditte concedendo loro grandi riduzioni fiscali sulle tasse, e allo stesso tempo taglia l'assistenza medica e finanziaria ai poveri e alla classe lavorativa; tagliando tutti i programmi sociali, dalla scuola all'assistenza medica e l'ambiente.

AN OPEN LETTER TO TRUMP and the Republican Party

 President TRUMP,
Seventeen school children were gunned down yesterday in Florida at parkland HS. How many more children need to die before you and your republican party take action to save them from gun violence? 

This IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT; don't you think that the time has come to stop the nonsense and PASS EFFECTIVE GUN CONTROL LAWS? Most school shootings are committed by US Terrorists, extremists and mentally unstable. 

Instead of giving 1.5 trillion dollars in tax breaks to the rich and corporations. Instead of increasing the military budget war machine to 756 billion (the biggest in the world). Instead of keep on insisting of building an ineffective wall on the US-Mexican border. Instead of cutting social services, education, the environment- why don't you do the right thing and just thing; and spend US tax dollars where everyone will benefit, not just the rich and the corporations, but all citizens. 

 And please stop your hypocrisy by continuing to offer only prayers for the victims- because your words are hallow/ meaningless- unless you take strong effective action to protect our kids from gun toting criminals, US home grown terrorists, fanatics and the mentally deranged! 

 Instead of siding with the gun industry/lobby and the NRA, take side with American citizens who have been begging you for common sense gun legislation time and time again- for years now- since Colombine HS and since Sandyhook Elementary (Newtown, CT). 

 Instead of using the Second Amendment (the right to own/bear arms) as an excuse to protect the gun lobby- have the moral courage and the compassion to pass effective gun control laws that protect our people instead of the gun industry interests! 
Take action for justice and protect us, the public and our school children from these criminals! 

 Finally one last items; don't blame other nationalities and/or other religions, like Muslims, because of these horrible crimes- instead look at statistics! They're committed by mostly white people, and of them many are supremacists!

Diciassette ragazzi sono stati uccisi a colpi di arma da fuoco ieri alla scuola superiore Parkland nella Florida. Quanti altri bambini hanno bisogno di morire prima che lei e il suo partito repubblicano prendiate provvedimenti per salvaguardarli dalla violenza armata? 

Questa è la sua occasione per rendere AMERICA GRANDE; non crede che sia giunto il momento di fermare l'assurdità e il PASSSARE LEGGI EFFICACI per CONTROLLARE LE ARMI DA FUOCO?  
La maggior parte delle sparatorie scolastiche sono commesse da terroristi statunitensi, estremisti  che sono mentalmente instabili.

Invece di usare il Secondo Emendamento (il diritto di possedere / portare armi) come una scusa/ragione per proteggere la lobby dei manufatturieri e venditori di armi da fuoco - abbiate il coraggio morale e la compassione di approvare leggi efficaci per il fermare questa violenza armata, con controlli efficaci delle armi, che proteggano la nostra gente invece che gli interessi dell'industria delle armi! 
Agite per la giustizia e la protezione del pubblico, e dei bambini nelle nostre scuole da questi criminali!Finalmente un ultima cosa; non incolpate altre nazionalità e/o altre religioni, come i musulmani, e drgli colpa a loro di questi orribili crimini, guardate invece le statistiche! 9. So, what's our lesson from these past presidents? That when it comes time to vote we must be careful who we chose. This is what we must do to make a good choice.
We must look for facts, inform ourselves, listen to many sources (not just one, watch different TV channels, not just FOX or CNN, but also NPR, several newspapers and other online sources). Why? Because media can be manipulated by self interests! We must look at the candidate's past experience and ask ourselves these questions. Did they maintain their campaign promises? Did they accomplish what they set out to do during their time in power? If the answer is yes, then we should vote for them. If the answer is no, we definitely shouldn't not vote for them! Simple! 
And lastly we must listen to our conscience, I personally pray and ask God to open my mid and heart, so that I make the right choice! The right decision, and then I sprinkle (send some prayers) toward our leaders, so that they may listen to the voice of God, the voice of reason, compassion and justice, the voice of peace, prosperity and respect for all life, and for social/environmental justice. I also ask God to give our leaders His protection/guidance- and the courage to work for peace/cooperation with all other nations in the world, and do what's right for all the people- not only the rich and the powerful- but also the poor, the middle class.

Today, I am personally sick and tired of the two major US parties because they are corrupt- they no longer serve the needs of people, but they instead serve the interests of big corporations, like the oil, the pharmaceutical, the gun lobby, the NRA, and the defense/weapons industry. 
In addition, many are liers and deceivers- the 9/11 attack is riddled with questions/doubts, and many people, including myself think that it was an inside job. A cover up, an false flag operation that served to build a case for war against muslim nations, and scare the public into voting for George W. Bush, who claimed to be a stronger candidate in fighting terrorism! What a bunch of bull! 9/11 happened under his watch! Then he sent us to fight a 12 year war in Iraq, and an endless war in Afghanistan and Pakistan! He put these war on the US credit card! he borrowed the money! The estimate for these wars are 5-7 Trillion dollars! Not only that, but how much did it cost in lives to the American public? How much did it cost the US taxpayers to bail out Wall street and US banks? Way too much! We'll be paying for a long time. Now we have another republican president who has given 1,5 trillion dollars in tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations, and increased the US military budget to 756 Billion dollars! Republicans always brag about having fiscal responsability! The moment they have to pay for war and armaments, their fiscal responsibility goes out the door! How devious and pathetic! Then they pay for their credit card bills by slashing social programs for the poor, the middle class, workers, the environmant, education and infrastructure! Amarican politics need a new party, one that stands up for all of it's citizens, not just the few rich ones at the top! We need a party that stands up for life, peace, economic prosperity and social/environmental justice!

The corruption isn't only in Washington. Take a look at NY State leadership- it is also in a the same mess. It is also corrupt. Look at what NY Governor Andrew Cuomo has done! He appointed the Westmoreland Commission, to prevent/fight corruption in government, at the beginning of his 1st term, and later dismantled it. Why? Their findings were inconevenient!?!

The general who fought for the unification of Italy and some countries of South America. He was never president, and indeed he refused political charges that the King wanted to give him at the end of his war mission in Italy. He refused them because he considered himself a soldier and not a politician.

Let us not forget that Bush, his vice president Dick Cheney and Rumsfelt (his defense minister), began the financial trobles and to ruin the image of the United States by dragging it into useless wars (in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan), which caused a hole of 5- 7 trillion dollars in US budget, and the vacuum, which ISIS has now filled.

Non dimentichiamo che Bush n. 2, il suo vice-presdente Dick Cheney e Rumsfelt (ilministro della difesa), contribuirono ai problemi finanziari degli Stati Uniti- trascinandolo in geurre inutili (nell'Iraq, l'Afghanistan e il Pakistan) che hanno causato un buco di 5-7 triliardi di dollari nel bilancio USA, e il vuoto che ora l'ISIS ha riempito.

 Come possiamo vedere dalla storia, molti presidenti degli Stati Uniti hanno causato danni forti; hanno provocato guerre ingiuste e immorali, come quella del Vietnam e la guerra in Iraq e l'afghanista.  9. Allora, qual è la nostra lezione da questi presidenti e leaders? Che quando arriva il momento di votare dobbiamo stare attenti! Dobbiamo cercare fatti, informarci, ascoltare molte fonti (non solo una, guardare diversi canali TV, non solo la TV FOX o la CNN, ma anche NPR, la National Public Radio, diversi giornali e altre fonti online. Perché? Perché i media possono essere manipolati da interessi personali e dalle ditte! 

 Quindi dobbiamo ascoltare, prestare attenzione ai fatti invece che alle opinioni. Dobbiamo guardare all'esperienza passata del candidato e porsi queste domande, hanno mantenuto le loro promesse campali? Hanno realizzato ciò che si sono proposti di fare durante il loro periodo di potere? Se la risposta è sì, allora voteremo per loro. Se la risposta è no, allora non voteremo per loro! Semplice!E infine dobbiamo ascoltare la nostra coscienza, personalmente prego e chiedo a Dio di aprire la mia metà e il mio cuore, così che io faccia la scelta giusta! La decisione giusta (per chi votare), e poi spargere (inviare alcune preghiere) verso i nostri leader, in modo che possano ascoltare la voce di Dio, la voce della ragione, della compassione e della giustizia. La voce della pace, della prosperità e del rispetto di tutta la vita e della giustizia sociale / ambientale. Io, pertanto, chiedo a Dio di dare ai nostri leader la sua protezione / guida e il coraggio di fare ciò che è giusto per tutto il popolo, non solo i ricchi e i potenti, ma anche i poveri della classe media, i lavoratori, nella nostra nazione e pace / cooperazione con tutte le altre nazioni nel mondo.Oggi, sono personalmente stanco dei due principali partiti USA perché sono corrotti - non servono più i bisogni delle persone, ma servono invece gli interessi delle grandi società, come quelle del petrolio, l a farmaceutica, la lobby delle armi, il NRA (Ente nazionale dei Portatori d'armi) e l'industria della difesa, delle armi, il business dellla guerra.Inoltre, molti leaders sono pignoli e imbroglioni - l'attacco dell'11 settembre è pieno di domande senza risposte, di molti dubbi, che molte persone, incluso me stesso, pensano che sia stato un lavoro interno. Una copertura, un'operazione di false flag (bandiera falsa) un falso allarme creato dal gopverno USA! Che servì a costruire una balla, una scusa per far guerra contro le nazioni musulmane, e spaventare il pubblico a votare per George W. Bush n. 2- che sosteneva di essere un candidato più forte nella lotta al terrorismo! Che mucchio di m...! L'11 settembre è accaduto sotto il suo naso! Per  mandare a combattere una guerra di 12 anni in Iraq e una guerra senza fine in Afghanistan e Pakistan! Il costo di queste guerre sono state accollate sulla carta di credito degli Stati Uniti! Bush 2 ha preso in prestito i soldi! Infatti, la stima di queste guerre è di 5-7 trilioni di dollari! Non solo, ma quante vite sono costate? al pubblico americano? Quasi 6,000! E oltre 150,000 feriti/infermi per tutta la vita! bel guadagno! 
E quanto è costato ai contribuenti americani il salvataggio di Wall Street e delle banche statunitensi? Troppo! Gli Americani pagheremo per molto tempo, per tutta la vita, a nano che venga un presidente con le lpalle! e la smette di fare guerre inotili e invece investe sull'economia e la prosperita' di tutti! 
Ma purtoppo ci vorra' tempo perche' attualmente abbiamo un altro presidente repubblicano, Trump, che ha offerto 1,5 trilioni di dollari in tagli fiscali ai ricchi e alle corporazioni, ha aumentato il bilancio militare USA a 756 miliardi di dollari!  
I repubblicani, il partito di Trumo si e sempre vantato di avere responsabilità fiscale! Balle! I fatti lo negano ampiamente! 
Nel momento in cui devono pagare per la guerra e gli armamenti, la loro responsabilità fiscale non esiste piu!! Sono subdoli, falsi e patetici!  
Poi per pagare le bollette della loro carta di credito tagliano i programmi sociali per i poveri, la classe media, i lavoratori, l'ambiente, l'istruzione e le infrastrutture! La politica amaricana ha bisogno di un nuovo partito, uno che difenda tutti i cittadini, non solo i pochi ricchi al vertice! Abbiamo bisogno di un partito che ascolti al popolo invece di prendere sovvenzioni dalle ditte. Un partito che difenda la vita umana, l'onesta', la trasparenza, la pace, la prosperità economica e la giustizia sociale e ambientale! 
Ma la corruzione politica non è solo a Washington. Se diamo un'occhiata alla leadership dello Stato di New York - la corruzione si trova anche li. Difatti il Governatore di New York, Andrew Cuomo, stabili la Westmoreland Commission, per prevenire e combattere la corruzione nel governo statele di NY, all'inizio del suo 1 ° mandato, ma successivamente l'ha smantellata. Perché? Le loro scoperte erano inconvenienti!?! Ecco perche'! 
Molti leaders a livello statale gia' sono andati in prigione.

Teddy e Bobby Kennedi, due fratelli e grandi presidenti e politici, che combatterono per i diritti dei neri (afro-americani) ma furono assassinati perche' avevano idee e progetti che non piacevano a molti Americani... razzisti!





WE NEED TO LOOK AT THE PAST, THE HISTORY AND ITS LEADERS (to facts and not talk and opinions), SO THAT WE CAN MAKE A BETTER A BETTER/WISE CHOICE. But we also must pray for our leaders, so that they do what's right for everyone, and not a few.
DOBBIAMO GUARDARE INDIETRO ALLA STORIA (ai fatti e non le chiacchere/opinion) E I SUOI LEADERS PER FARE UNA SCELTA MIGLIORE, PIU' INTELLIGENTE E PIU' SAGGIA. Ma dobbiamo anche pregare per i nostri leaders politici, in modo che facciano le cose giuste per tutti, e non solo alcuni.
