WHAT CAN WE DO TO REDUCE POLLUTION? We all need to do all we possibly can to reduce waste (especially all single use-plastic trash) and carbon footprint to save our planet! Here are some ways how we can reduce pollution and help our planet Earth!

WHY SWITCH TO RENEWABLE SOURCES? Because it is better for the Earth- you will reduce CO2 emissions and will save money too! SIMPLE! We may be paying a little extra now, but if everyone switches to renewable energy, the prices will go down.

WHAT THINGS HARM (damage) PLANET EARTH?     

1. Our planet faces many threats (dangers) that are manmade- created by humanity. The first most dangerous threat is nuclear war, and the second threat is pollution from several sources; CO2 emissions (smog from auto vehicles and factories), herbicides (plant killers) and pesticides (bug/insect killers), single-use plastic trash (things we use once, and then we throw away, as plastic bags, bottles, cups, silverware, straws, cups, lids, etc. And the third threat is deforestation the cutting down and/or burning of forests because of development (for farmland and/or to build roads, factories, etc.)

2. There is so much plastic pollution in the world because the USA, and many other countries, do not recycle enough; farmers use harmful chemicals to grow their crops, people throw their plastic waste in the trash, and some even throw it outside, in the environment, on the ground or in the sea. In fact, 79% of plastic waste/trash is accumulating in landfills/dumps)- and as it sits (stays) in the natural environment, it contaminates (poisons, spoils) the soil and water sources, our drinking water. Lots of this plastic waste gets transported to the sea by the wind, sewer systems and water bodies, creeks, and rivers. In addition to microplastics (tiny pieces of plastic, 1/5 of an inch) are also released from motor vehicle tires, which get washed into the oceans- by rain- into the sewer system! And microplastics from electric clothes washers/driers when they wash/dry synthetic clothes (made with polyester/plastic fibers)!

3. No wonder why scientists are continuously warning us. They tell us that if present trends (these destructive ways) continue, by 2050, there will be 8 billion metric tons of plastic in the oceans! This means that every minute that passes, the equivalent of rubbish (trash, garbage) truck full goes into the world’s oceans! This pollution is poisoning our drinking water and killing millions of marine (ocean) animals. 

4. So, it is evident, that everyone, me, you, our families, our communities, our neighborhoods; schools, stores, parks, hospitals,  businesses, corporations, and the governments must do more to reduce (decrease, lessen) and eventually stop this enormous (huge, very big) amount of waste (trash, pollution) that is filling and destroying our planet earth.

COLLECT PLASTIC BOTTLES/CANS & PLASTIC BAGS!
The CLYNK recycling program (In Upstate NY/New England)  is convenient/easy- we just collect/drop them off at Hannaford (after you affix your bag tag/sticker that has your online info), CLYNK will recycle them and funds will be deposited in your account- cash it at any Hannaford Supermarket!

SCHOOL RECYCLING CHALLENGE/CONTEST to all SCHOOLS in MAINE & in NEW YORK STATE.  You can join the CLYNK school recycling program- by sending home to parents/families- the individual Hannaford recycling bags. 8th Annual CLYNK for Schools Recycling Challenge 2019 Launches January 14th! CLYNK! Did you hear that?  It’s the sound of change for K-12 schools-  

We encourage our schools to raise funds and recycling awareness by Clinking redeemable bottles and cans year-round at participating Hannaford Supermarkets. And during our annual Recycling Challenge, January 14 – March 22, 2019, schools will get even more change—or better yet, funds in the form of a check. For every $1 raised in the Challenge period, schools will get an added 50-cent match, plus the opportunity to compete for other cash prizes! Last year’s winners raised an average of $1,500 for their school. Public and private K-12 schools in Maine or New York are eligible.

Families, you can also give some change by signing up for CLYNK and donating to your school through your personal online CLYNK account. Your influence will impact schools and the community through positive recycling momentum.

So, where do you start? Check with your school Principal to be sure that they’re on board—no deduction points for nudging.
School-Assigned CLYNK Coordinators:

1. Call and place an order for bags, tags, and promotional pouches at 1.866.228.8454. We will mail them to your school.
2. Place school identifier sticker tags on all bags
3. Fold bags and place them in pouches
4. Handout pouches to students, families, and teachers to fill at their homes
5. Drop filled bags at any of our Hannaford Supermarket drop locations

Purchase a plastic trash bin and start recycling in your school! I got several so far! They are white Sterilite Swing Tops (13.2 Gal/50Liters- you can buy them at Walmart for $11.85- taxes included. I bought two for Schalmont HS! But I got approval from the principal first. I placed one in the room where I teach and one in the hallway near my classroom. The black 20 gals. bins with lids can also be purchased at Walmart- they cost 8.79 each, and they hold the Clink bags almost perfectly!
  
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR...
The bottles/cans that I collect are donated to the Capital Region BOCES Clynk Recyclizing program that I started- the funds raised are donated to the Backpack Program and the Skill USA Programs at BOCES! 

Voorheesville Elementary will begin Clinking in the fall of 2021!

You can buy the Hannaford Clink recycling cardboard boxes for $ 5 each, and the recycling bags (one box has 10 bags in each- for $2.79 each). CLYNK will also recycle any non-redeemable items, like Gatorade, juice/drink bottles, yogurt cups, etc.- as long as they’re clean! Please, make sure no trash/food/liquids are included-otherwise they’ll be thrown in the garbage.

I hope that you’ll consider recycling in your classroom, at work, and or hallway and join me in the CLYNK program.

·         Inform/educate your students (Ss) to recycle correctly; they shouldn’t throw plastic in the trash! Because it contaminates the land and water sources! Recyclables bottles/cans must be empty/clean and bottles caps must be screwed on the bottles- because these (if thrown in the trash- may end up in the sea and kill marine animals too!

·         Through this initiative, students in K-12 schools across the continental United States and parts of Canada can collect and repurpose used Crayola markers. I invite all of my colleagues in all schools to do so. I placed a crayon recycling box in my classroom and in the teacher’s lounges. I will send these to Crayola.

WHY is it important to recycle plastic? Because our planet and the world’s oceans are being submerged- they’re literally filled with plastic trash! It's mostly single-use, disposable items and Styrofoam/plastic packaging. This plastic trash is destroying our oceans and our planet. The extent of the damage inflicted on the world’s oceans, and our planet, is enormous.   According to the June 2018 National Geographic;

•          40% of our everyday plastic is used once and then it is tossed (thrown away in the trash) - so 8 million tons of it ends up in the ocean each year. (Source: National Geographic)

•         Only 9% of our trash is recycled (in the USA), and the rest- 79%- is accumulating in landfills, hence, it sits in the natural environment and contaminates our land and water. And at some point, much of it ends up in the oceans.

•          If present trends continue, by 2050, there will be 12 billion metric tons of plastic!

•          Scientists also estimate that 12   million tons of plastic are entering our oceans every year – that's a rubbish truck full- every minute!  

•          Ocean plastic is estimated to kill millions of marine animals every year. Nearly 700, including endangered ones of species of marine animals, are known to have been affected. Marine species of all sizes, from zooplankton to whales, now eat microplastics, the bits smaller than one-fifth of an inch across. This is plastic that has broken down into smaller pieces (after years of floating in the ocean, and/or sitting in the environment).

•         And other sources tell us that 94% of all drinking water in the USA is polluted with plastic, and 70% of the world’s water contains plastic too!

MOVIES TO RAISE AWARENESS/INTEREST IN PROTECTING OUR PLANET AGAINST THE SCOURGE OF PLASTIC TRASH

I have seen three excellent/educational and inspiring documentary films, and 7 short videos, that show and explain the extent of the ocean plastic mess. The first one that I saw recently is titled:  

·       
 1.  Inside the Garbage of the World Documentary. The Ugly truth About Plastic Pollution (released in 2016). 

  2. A PLASTIC OCEAN (released in 2012). And

·          
  3. Plastic Paradise. The GREAT Pacific Garbage Patch (released in August 2010).

Summaries of the above films.

1. Inside the Garbage of the World Documentary. The Ugly truth About Plastic Pollution (76 minutes/Not Rated- released in 2016). This is a must see for anyone, children (from 5^th grade and above. After the Japan Tsunami and the Fukushima disaster in 2011, pollution and radiation is traveling through the Pacific Ocean to the U.S. via discarded plastic. Without a realistic solution in sight, the film explores personal accountability each one of us shares to solve this global crisis. We are on the edge of a tremendous disaster – can humankind act before it is too late? Here are some facts from the 2016 documentary film: Inside the Garbage of the World. The Ugly Truth About Plastic Pollution;

• An estimated 100 billion tons of plastic is produced each year, more or less 4.7 million tons of plastic trash per year, 80% originates on land and the rest- 20%- is discarded from ships/boats
• 30%-75% of river debris is plastic trash
• helium balloons are also a major problem,
• 50% of plastic sinks to the bottom of the ocean, where it deteriorates- breaks into smaller pieces) and most likely marine animals ingest it.
• Plastic is hard to see at sea because it breaks up into smaller fragments (tiny pieces) in a vast ocean.

2. A PLASTIC OCEAN. An adventure documentary that was shot in 4 years and in over 20 countries. In 2011 by journalist, filmmaker and adventurer Craig Leeson set out to make a documentary on whales, but then, noticing all that plastic in the ocean, he changed the main message to the ecological threat of plastic pollution to our planet. I have a copy of A Plastic Ocean. It is an eye opener. It show how we are ruining our oceans with our single-use plastic. According to them 8 MILLION pounds of plastic/year end up in the sea! In fact, marine biologists predict that within 2 generations (our grandchildren) may not have an ocean; hence, the earth may no longer be a livable planet! WHY ARE YOUNG PEOPLE SPEAKING OUT? Because we
are in a sea of troubles (lots of problems)! Our planet, and in
particular, the world's oceans are being submerged (flooded, filled) devastated (ruined, destroyed) with plastic trash- our single-use plastic and foam packaging- items (things) that are used just once and then tossed in the trash, like: bags, bottles, silverware, cups, lids, straws, dishes, swabs (q-tips), etc. However, that's not all! Other harmful products are also degrading (damaging, hurting) the world’s oceans; discarded fishing, pesticides, herbicides, toothpaste, cosmetics (that contain micro beads- these are tiny pieces of plastic 1/5 of an inch in size), high level of CO2 emissions/pollution from fossil fuels (oil, coil and methane gas) - are causing ocean acidification- the bleaching (or death)- of corrals. In addition to, sewer waste, loaded with micro plastics- also  tiny pieces/particles of plastic- found in; face scrubs (in women cosmetics/make up) and in tooth paste and some liquid soaps are also damaging.  Micro plastics are also released from motor vehicle tires, and get washed to the oceans! And from electric clothes washers/driers when they wash/dry synthetic clothes (made with polyester/plastic fibers)! So, micro plastic now is also in the air we breathe, the water we drink and in seafood! It is estimated that 1/4- 1/3 of seafood contains it. And finally two more; over fishing (usually by commercial fleets) has depleted marine life, and so does sonic blasts (loud noise for oil exploration) and are contributing (causing) to the devastation and killing of marine life.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME.

I am a naturalized US citizen from Italy; a public school teacher, a an

artist and writer, and a social/environmental activist. In May 2016 I

became aware of ocean plastic pollution after finished reading and

discussing a book with 4th graders, in one of my colleague’s classrooms.

It was Mrs. Pat Vissat’s reading class, at  Jefferson Elementary School, in

Schenectady, NY. The title of that illustrated children’s book was The

Voyage of The Plastiki. This story motivated me to do more. In fact,

soon after I read that book, I began applying the 4Rs with more

effort/passion. I started recycling plastic in the schools where I work and

I encouraged them to do so. I also began teaching about the  oceans\

and what we can do to protect them and the Earth. Students and I wrote

letters to our government leaders, at the federal and State levels. This

effort continues, and I hope to get others like me, who care for our

planet, to support it.

            

Planet Earth is our home, so she is everyone’s responsibility. We
all have a moral obligation- a duty- to do something and protect
her from the harmful effects of pollution. Earth is the only livable

planet that we have and we know of today. Let’s keep it safe.

Why MANY PEOPLE OBJECT TO THE LATEST LATE TERM LAW, THE HRA, APPOROVED BY NY STATE last month, and  SOME QUESTIONS to reflect upon.

Today many people talk about their rights, and so far, I have heard only one person on RAI (the Italian TV channel in the USA) talk about duty. 

He said the following: EVERYONE ASKS FOR RIGHTS, BUT NO ONE QUESTIONS WHAT THEIR DUTIES ARE!

Unfortunately, it is the truth! In our society, today no one talks about duties, but only about his/her rights!

So, I ask, WHAT ARE OUR DUTIES TOWARD HUMAN LIFE? Shouldn't abortion be the last option? And shouldn't it be used only as a means to protect the health/life of the mother? After all, there are other solutions to abortion; like abstinence, birth control, adoption, education for the respect/value of human life, etc. 

In addition, I also ask: What are our duties of parents? Aren't their main duties; to love, protect/defend and take care of their children? 

So, why is there so much focus only on abortion these days? And why do late term abortions, now are allowed until the moment of birth? And why weren't clear guidelines included stating when such abortions should take place? 

SHOULDN'T ABORTIONS BE ALLOWED ONLY TO PROTECT THE HEALTH AND/OR LIFE OF THE MOTHER? You say that's exactly what the RHA will do. In fact, most abortion-rights advocates say that late-term abortions are only performed in cases where a mother’s life or health is at risk or the child suffers from a life-threatening condition.

But this is false. According to research published by the Guttmacher Institute, which supports abortion rights, abortions for fetal abnormalities “make up a small minority” of late-term abortions; those for saving the mother’s life are an even smaller number. The majority of late-term abortions aren’t done for so-called “medical reasons” at all.

And in New York hospitals, you can find premature newborn babies surrounded by dedicated doctors and nurses fighting to save their lives. Next door, you now might find physicians and non-physicians alike giving lethal injections to babies the same age, thanks to the state’s new so-called Reproductive Health Act." So far millions of late term abortions (according to statistics) have been done, for many other reasons- not to save the life of the mother. 

I agree, that women have the right to chose, but I also ask: 

WHAT ABOUT THE RIGHTS OF THE FATHER, and/or the male companion? Doesn't he have a say in this decision? If his children should be born and/or aborted? Shouldn't that be included in these abortion laws? Of course it should be, but here in the US, the final decision is only of the woman. As if children are made only by women! 

In conclusion, what has some Catholic bishops, and Republicans who opposed the bill worried, is the fact that the HRA has a gray area in the bill- something isn't clear enough. They feel that the factors that go into deciding whether a women’s health may be at risk were not clearly defined. The concern is that this would give doctors too much discretion. This they say, is opening the door to possible unnecessary late-term abortions. I agree.

IN THE USA, ABORTION LAWS ARE BECOMING HORRIFIC BY THE DAY

  New York can congratulate itself on being the abortion capital of America! Or should I say, the murder capital of America... New York's Reproductive Health Act does not support women or promote women's health. It legalizes late-term abortion of fully VIABLE babies. And it lets the abortion industry operate without accountability, oversight, or restriction. Sick. Vile. Disgusting.

It is has become more than evident that abortion laws in the USA are becoming more and more horrific. That is why, for those of us who love, respect and protects human life, February 2019 won't certainly be an occasion for celebration. And neither it would be, if both Presidents Lincoln and Washington- whose birthdays we remember this month- were alive today, they would be shocked and revolted, to say the least! 

NY State recently approved the Reproductive Health Act, or RHA- recent NY State abortion law signed on the 46^th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, which the pro-life movement happily remembered on the same day, January 22, 2019.

The RHA, New York’s new late term abortion law, in fact, will not protect mothers, nor will it protect unborn, and born children! But it will instead endanger them even more!

Here are basic facts from elements of this new law, the Reproductive Health Act (RHA)- Provided by the Human Coalition, a pro-life online site.

1.     It now legalizes abortion until the moment of birth but is not the only state to have done so.

In fact, six other states plus Washington, D.C., also allow abortion until birth: Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, & Vermont.

2.     It was celebrated by the abortion movement. It was cheered and applauded and publicly celebrated in New York.

3. Abortion is now legal in New York through all nine months of pregnancy on-demand for essentially any reason.

5. New York no longer recognizes a human being as a person until after he or she has been born. Once again, instead of being valued for simply being human, abortion activists continue to rely on the ambiguous and discriminatory label of “personhood” in order to justify killing an entire class of human beings.  Humans have killed other humans throughout history because of race, gender, size, color, religion, geography, social class, and a host of other traits. Personhood is simply the latest discrimination factor and the current favorite of the abortion industry. 

But even with that egregious application of the personhood discrimination label, children who survive abortion and are born are not protected by the law.

6. The RHA removes legal protections that once ensured that viable babies who survived abortion would be given medical treatment.

The bill reflects a pure, unadulterated hatred of children in the womb. But does the bill even protect women? Hardly.

7. The RHA says that certain non-physicians can now commit abortions in New York. What happened to giving women very best medical care for their abortions?  Are we seeing a return to those back alley abortions that we heard about so many years ago? 

8. The RHA also repeals New York laws that punish criminals who harm women in an attempt to kill their preborn children, leaving the mothers of wanted children to mourn without recourse to the state. 

New York became the home of the first version of a Planned Parenthood clinic over one hundred years ago and has led the abortion movement for decades.

New York City is, by a large margin, the most abortion-dense area in the entire United States. According to the city’s own documentation, more African-American children are aborted than born alive in NYC.  You heard that correctly – more than ½ of Black babies in New York are already aborted.  The the most dangerous place in New York City for a black baby is actually the womb. And New York just celebrated this advancement of the culture of death with applause and pink lights. 

The leading cause of death in America is the killing of children in the womb, and New York continues to promote and advance this culture of death.

HOW MANY CHILDREN HAVE BEEN ABORTED SINCE 1974? According to Human Coalition: 61M American children have died since that Supreme Court decision.

And in a more up ed, (2-18-19), published in the Schenectday Daily Gazette, Kathleen M. Gallagher (of Schenectady), who is the director of pro-life activities for the New York State Catholic Conference, stated the following.

"Gov. Andrew Cuomo can spin it any way he wants, but as an attorney, he knows this is true. Lawmakers could have put language in the law to limit late-term abortions to cases where there is a grave physical health danger to the mother, but they didn’t.
Instead, they gave Planned Parenthood exactly what it wanted — an open-ended “health” exception that allows abortion for reasons of age, economics and family circumstances; virtually anything will suffice.

Think about that.
An unfettered absolute right to abortion for all nine months of pregnancy is now imbedded in New York law.

The same fully formed infants that parents excitedly watch on the ultrasound screen kicking their legs and sucking their thumbs can now be legally destroyed at any point in their in utero development.
But lawmakers didn’t stop there.

They also removed protections in law for infants who might accidentally survive an abortion.

Yes, that happens.
And yes, our law had previously offered these babies immediate medical attention and gave them all of the legal rights each and every one of us enjoys as a born human being. But no more. 
Now they can be left to die on the table.  
New York’s criminal charge of felony abortion was also wiped off the books by the new law.
Human traffickers and domestic abusers are the ones rejoicing here.
No longer can they be charged for coerced abortions or attacks intentionally targeting a pregnancy to cause miscarriage.
In early February, a pregnant woman and her unborn child were viciously bludgeoned to death in Queens.
The district attorney charged the alleged perpetrator with second degree murder and second-degree abortion, but had to drop the abortion charge when he realized the crime no longer exists.
As a result, there will never be justice for the death of that very-much-wanted baby.
So much for “choice.”
Gov. Cuomo has said that New York’s new abortion law is the most aggressive one in the country.
He’s right about that.
It is overly permissive, extreme and dangerous.
It will leave in its wake more dead infants and many wounded mothers. It was all about politics and not about the best interests of the people.   
Did we need it? Absolutely not.
New York already had the highest abortion rate of any state in the country.
And that’s a heartbreaking designation, not a celebratory badge of honor.

So, my question for those who support these abortion laws is this. Why do you keep pushing abortion when there are many other solutions, like: ABSTINENCE, BIRTH CONTROL, ADOPTION and EDUCATION and RESPECT/DIGNITY of human life? Why don't you support and push these solutions, instead of the MURDER of innocent and defenseless children!??

As Human Coalition stated in their article: The leading cause of death in America is the killing of children in the womb, and New York continues to promote and advance this culture of death. 

So, what can we do to stop this river of innocent blood? I suggest the following three things; Prayer, Support and Political Action. We could pray, and support mothers who are considering abortions. We can show them other solutions, like keeping the baby or giving it up to adoption, getting them financial and moral support- our church and/or community can help single moms. Let's not abandon these mothers. 

In fact, New York Timothy Cardinal Dolan held a press conference this Monday, February 18, 2019) to reaffirm the archdiocese’s “commitment to helping pregnant women in need” while remaining opposed to abortion amid Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s backing of the state’s Reproductive Health Act.

You can take political action by writing/contacting your political reperedentatives in NY State and in Washington. Just Google the following: "Contact senator Schumer"(if you live in NY), Contact senator Gillibrand (Dem NY), and Contact congressman Tonko (also NY Dem), and write them a nice letter. You can use this one, cut and paste any parts you like! Tell them that late term abortions are barbaric, unnecessary, and that you're against them.

No human being, in their right mind, would dare have their child and/or dog, and/or any other pet, abort it's puppies at the very end of its gestation/pregnancy. So, why is our State government allowing this outrage, immoral and gruesome act to become law? 

This new law is another symptom of the lack of love in our political leaders who think that they are doing a good thing by killing babies in the mother's womb! When in fact they're not!
People with decency, and a speck of morality, cannot and will not accept this law! I will never support radical and inhumane abortion agenda that many democratic leaders at all levels of government have been undertaking for a long time now. This late term abortion law is the last straw!
It  is clear that many NY State lawmakers have lost all kind of human decency and forgotten that there’s a God who will ask for an explanation and accountability of these immoral acts. 

I hope and pray that this law will be overturned, because it is simply inhuman, highly immoral and an horrendous act! An act of violence- not an act of love. I also invite all people of decency, morality and compassion to contact their  leaders and let them know that this law needs to be thrown out.

I think that no human being, in his/her right mind, would dare have their dog and/or any other pet (abort it's puppies at the very end of its gestati,on/pregnancy). So, why did our NY State government allow this outrage, immoral and gruesome act to become law? I think this whis  law is another symptom of the lack of love in our political leaders who think that they are doing a good thing by killing babies in the mother's womb! When in fact they're not!
People with decency, and/or a speck of morality, cannot and will not accept this law! I will never support radical and inhumane abortion agenda- that many democratic leaders at all levels of government have been undertaking for a long time now. This late term abortion law is the last straw! 

It  is clear that many NY State lawmakers have lost all kind of human decency and forgotten that there’s a God who will ask for an explanation and accountability of these immoral acts. 

I hope and pray that this law will be overturned, because it is simply inhuman, highly immoral and an horrendous act! An act of violence- not an act of love.
I also encourage everyone to speak up and let our politi leaders that the RHA is unacceptable by any human standards.  
 

LA NUOVA LEGGE RECENTE SULL'ABORTO, APPROVATA DI RECENTE DALLO STATO DI NY NON È UN ATTO D'AMORE, MA UN ALTRO ATTO ORRIBILE DI VIOLENZA CONTRO DONNE E BAMBINI INDIFESI.

Tra pochi giorni sarà San Valentino, il giorno dell'amore. Tuttavia, il San Valentino di quest'anno sarà triste- segnato dall'ultima forma di aborto tardivo recentemente passato nello Stato di New York- chiamata: Reproductive Health Act, o semplicemente: RHA - una legge che è stata firmata per l'occasione del 46 ° anniversario di Roe v. Wade (la legge USA che legalizzo' l'aborto nel 1974), e i sostenitori dell'aborto hanno ricordato accendendo luci rosi in varie parti dello Stato di NY, in quello stesso giorno, il 22 gennaio 2019. 

È stato un giorno triste perché, con questa legge, le donne sono state ingannate e i bambini saranno strappati via dal loro grembo, senza riguardo alla fase della gravidanza, infatti potranno essere abortiti fino al giorno della nascita!
In questo post scoprirai le conseguenze disumane che questa legge orrenda avrà su donne e bambini, e sulla dignità della vita umana. Allora v'incoraggio e vi prego di parlare, contattate i vostri rappresentanti dello stato di New York e a Washington, e fategli sapere che questo tipo di leggi non sono moralmente inaccettabili, e invece i bambini e le donne devono essere amati e protetti da tutte le violenze.

Tuttavia, il San Valentino di quest'anno sarà segnato dall'ultima forma di aborto tardivo recentemente passato nello Stato di New York - la Reproductive Health Act, o RHA - una legge che è stata firmata nel 46 ° anniversario di Roe v. Tuttavia, la nuova legge sull'aborto di New York metterà in pericolo ancora più bambini e madri che mai. Ecco i fatti di base di questa nuova legge (fornita da Human Coalition, un sito online pro-life).

1. Legalizza l'aborto fino al momento della nascita, ma non è l'unico stato ad averlo fatto. In effetti, altri sei stati consentono l'aborto fino alla nascita, e sono: Washington, D.C.,  Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon e Vermont.

2. Il passaggio del RHA è stato celebrato dal movimento di aborto. Fu applaudito, applaudito e celebrato pubblicamente a New York- accendendo i fari.

3. L'aborto è ora legale a New York per tutti e nove i mesi di gravidanza su richiesta per qualsiasi ragione.

4. New York non riconosce più un essere umano come persona se non dopo la sua nascita. Ancora una volta, invece di essere considerati semplicemente umani, gli attivisti dell'aborto continuano a fare affidamento sull'etichetta ambigua e discriminatoria della "personalità" per giustificare l'uccisione di un'intera classe di esseri umani. Gli esseri umani hanno ucciso altri esseri umani nel corso della storia a causa di razzismo, sesso, taglia, colore, religione, geografia, classe sociale e una miriade di altri tratti. La personalità è semplicemente l'ultimo fattore di discriminazione e l'attuale favorito dell'industria dell'aborto. Ma anche con quell'eccessiva applicazione dell'etichetta di discriminazione della personalità, i bambini che sopravvivono all'aborto e sono nati non sono protetti dalla legge.

5. Rimuove le tutele legali che una volta assicuravano che i bambini vitali sopravvissuti all'aborto avrebbero ricevuto cure mediche. Il conto riflette un odio puro e genuino contro i bambini nel grembo materno. Ma la legge protegge anche le donne? Quasi. Ecco perché.

6. L'RHA afferma che alcuni non medici possono ora commettere aborti a New York. Cosa è successo a dare alle donne le migliori cure mediche per i loro aborti? Stiamo assistendo a un ritorno a quegli aborti di vicoli che abbiamo sentito parlare tanti anni fa?

7. Inoltre, abolishe le leggi di New York che puniscono i criminali che danneggiano le donne nel tentativo di uccidere i loro bambini nati, lasciando alle madri dei figli nel lutto e senza poter ricorrere allo stato. New York divenne il prima ad accettare una clinica di aborti, la Planned Parenthood, oltre cento anni fa e ha guidato il movimento per l'aborto per decenni. New York City ha, infatti, un'ampio margine, e' l'area più densamente abortiva di tutti gli Stati Uniti. E, secondo la documentazione della città, molti più bambini afro-americani sono abortiti che quelli nati vivi a New York. L'havete letto correttamente - più di metta' dei bambini neri a New York sono già stati abortiti. Quindi, la citta' di New York, e' il posto più pericoloso per un bambino nero , anche nell'utero di sua madre.

E New York ha appena celebrato questo avanzamento della cultura della morte con applausi e luci rosa. La principale causa di morte in America è l'uccisione di bambini nel grembo materno e New York continua a promuovere e promuovere questa cultura della morte.

DAL 1974, SONO STATI ABORTITI 61 MILIONI DI BAMBINI AMERICANI, quindi deceduti a causa da quella decisione della Corte Suprema USA.

Quindi, ho due domande per coloro che sostengono queste leggi sull'aborto:
1. Perché il Partito Democratico USA continua a promuovere l'aborto, quando ci sono molte altre soluzioni? Come: ABSTINENCE, BIRTH CONTROL, ADOPTION e l'EDUCAZIONE di RESPECT / DIGNITY della vita umana?

2. Perché il partito democratico, invece, non sostiene e sostiene le opzioni sopra elencate che sono naturalmente non violente, umane e moralmente accettabili da tutti?

 
In conclusione, io gradisco e sostiengo molte idee del Partito Democratico USA, in particolare quelle che promuovono giustizia sociale e ambientale, la pace, il progresso economico e l'avanzamento di tutte le persone. Tuttavia, non posso sostenere l'agenda di aborti radicali e inumani che il vostro partito ha intrapreso da lungo tempo, specialmente con le leggi sull'aborto in ritardo come RHA.

E oramai ovvio che molti legislatori dello Stato di New York abbiano perso ogni tipo di decenza umana e abbiano dimenticato che c'è un Dio che chiederà loro spiegazioni e responsabilità per questi atti immorali.

Spero che voi a Washington non seguirete le loro orme orrende.
