Trump should concern himself with other more serious issues; like sending help to people in need in Puerto Rico and other areas of our country that were struck by hurricanes and other natural disasters. Besides, players should not be forced to stand for the National Anthem. They should be free like all other citizens to do as they see fit. The NFL isn't the military. In the military you have no choice- because veterans (I was one) swear to protect/defend the US Constitution and our country- hence they must obey the rules.
Therefore, NFL players cannot be forced to stand for the national anthem, since they didn't swear/promise to defend the Constitution and didn't sign up to defend our country either! They just signed up to play football and make lots of money! We do not force students in our schools to stand and/or salute the flag, we teach then respect toward our flag/country and all people by providing them with good modeling/examples.
Respect and love for country and people cannot be taught with rules, but by the way we, ourselves behave, and this is one aspect that President Trump lacks: respect for others. He is not a good role model! That is why he enforces rules- that's the only way he knows how to deal with people, he dictates, just like DICTATORS do!
